Quality British Made Shoe Repair Machinery

WE CAN’T HOLD BACK OUR PRICES MUCH LONGER!!!

With the well-highlighted increases in the cost of fuel and steel, as well as a multitude of other material price increases, we are going to have to raise our machinery prices slightly in the New Year.

The prices won’t rise a great deal – they will still be well within the reach of you affluent shoe repairers!

Whilst looking over our prices we had occasion to look back over our records and realised that actual prices we charge for new and particularly reconditioned machinery have certainly not even kept up with the rate of inflation over the past 10 or 20 years.

By way of illustration, just over ten years ago we sold a reconditioned Lynx 842 for £5250.00 and a reconditioned Power Unit for £9495.00.

Today we are offering comparable machinery for barely £500.00 more! That’s not bad in 10 years is it?  Particularly when you bear in mind that these days we would fully refurbish the machinery including shot blasting the metalwork and rebuilding as new. 10 years ago the quoted prices would have been for machinery either not repainted or “blown over” with a new colour.

As the start of this piece indicated, we need to increase our prices slightly starting on the 1st of January 2008. However, we are prepared to offer an internet only deal where we hold our 2007 prices for any order placed which comes through the “Contact Us” section of the website before the until the end of January 2008.

If you are thinking of replacing any of your machinery it will pay to get in touch with us sooner rather than later!
