Major machinery companies enter market alliance

Tony Law and Caspar America sign the agreement.

Two of Europe's best known Machinery manufacturers have signed up to a new European marketing agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement Standard obtain exclusive rights to supply the Jos America range of machinery including the highly specified repairer's finishing machines and the comprehensive range of specialist equipment for orthopaedic shoemakers.

For their part Jos America obtain exclusivity to the Standard range of finishers, Goodyear and Geneva stitchers for their markets in Europe. Increasingly some European repairers are requiring the smaller, more compact machines that are built in Kettering.

In addition the arrangement covers the exchange of specialist technologies between the Standard and Jos America, which both companies believe will be of significant value not only to each other but also to their respective customers.
