 It’s time to take out your diaries once again and circle Sunday 25th September as the day to drop everything and head over to Kettering for the annual Cutting Edge Exhibition. This time the exhibition is coming from the Kettering Conference Centre, and NOT Wicksteed Park, but, if you head to the park by mistake I’m sure they will be more than happy to take your money off you!
We will be showing and allowing you to operate our full range of equipment including the upgraded model 720 finisher. Based on customer feedback we have performed some interesting tweaks on our latest model to give even greater control and performance. There’ll be more about this as we get closer to the show.
So, what’s the story with this new location?
- The Kettering Conference Centre is part of a larger complex with indoor and outdoor sports facilities, healthclub, bars, a small lake, and a theatre.
- The site doubles up as the National Volleyball Centre, where England’s infeasibly tall women take on other infeasibly tall women from around the world!
- It is barely half a mile from junction 8 of the A14.
- More importantly, the Conference Centre is barely one and half miles from my house!
During an earlier incarnation, when the site was developed in the early 1990’s, it was infamously referred to by no less a band than “The Beautiful South” as the worse place they had ever played! An even more stinging remark when you consider they come from Hull!return to news & events... |
