Building up to the latest “Cycle Challenge” events, Standard Engineering Ltd will be supporting the Cancer Research charitable collection to the tune of £100.00 for every new finisher sold at the Doncaster Exhibition in September.
Now is your chance to replace an old, failing machine with a bright, British-made version, AND help contribute towards the fight against cancer. This way, you get to invest in your company, and feel good about it too!
We are already sponsors of the event and are looking forward to raising as much money as possible. During the 2008 event we generated almost £1,000.00 of the £20,000.00 raised, and are looking to top this figure this year.
Standard’s Sales Director Keith Malyon commented, “We are only too pleased to help such a worthy cause and, of course, a team from Standard will be taking part in this year’s event at Rutland Water on the 12th September.”
If you would like to help but cannot commit to entering the event yourself why not sponsor Keith as he takes on the 14+ miles of the Rutland Water route on Sunday 12th September?
Perhaps like Keith’s colleagues, you and your customers like the idea of Keith sweating around the reservoir and bouncing up and down on an uneven dirt track whilst wearing minimal lower abdominal padding, and would be willing to sponsor him in this endeavour?
If so, please record contact us with your pledges. Upon completion of the event, and when Keith’s lower portions allow, the raised money can be sent either to Standard or Cutting Edge.
